This week I read Storm Born and Thorn Queen by Richelle Mead. Finally finished Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall (for whatever reason it took me forever to finish this book).

Next on my list:

I have no clue, I have to many books in my tbr list and not sure what I want to read next. Too many great books out there :)

Yay! IT'S FRIDAY! Every Friday Parajunkee host Follow Friday. Today's question is:

 Q. Just like Ashley said (love it) "Ashley the girl..." who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the blogger?

I don't think I'm very interesting but here goes :) So my full name although my signature has Neri is Nerissa, I am a mom of two beautiful little girls, married to my high school sweetheart, work full time and go to school part-time. I have one dog, her name is Lilo (from Lilo & Stitch) I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up (although i'm 29) so I am taking random classes at the community college until I can figure out what it is I want to do with myself. My life is a little hectic and now I found a new addiction to add, blogging and making new friends who share the same interest :).

Recently found a new hobby, photography. I bought a DSLR camera in November and have been playing around with trying to figure out how to capture more natural pictures of my family than the posed shots. I have also been trying to figure out photoshop which is a beast on its own.

Below are some of the pictures I've taken, the last picture is of my dog, Lilo.

Music

I love music as much as I love reading a good book. With music you can be creative tell a story and express yourself, it's a form of art just like reading a book is. With books the author has a story that they want to tell and through their writing they are able to express themselves. With this said both music and books are part of my life you can call it my drug of choice. :)

For this week, I have picked Devil's Business (Black London #4) by Caitlin Kittredge.

Let me first say, I love this series! The writing is brilliant and I love the characters and the world that Ms. Kittredge builds.

Since this is the fourth book in the series, I will give you the synopsis for the first book in order not to spoil the first book for you.


Street Magic (Black London #1)

Her name is Pete Caldecott. She was just sixteen when she met Jack Winter, a gorgeous, larger-than-life mage who thrilled her with his witchcraft. Then a spirit Jack summoned killed him before Pete's eys--or so she thought. Now a detective, Pete is investigating the case of a young girl kidnapped from the streets of London. This week I am sad to say I didn't read much, I finished My One and Only by Kristan Higgins (review will be up later this week).

Currently Reading:

I am currently reading Darkness Dawns by Dianne Duvall. I have had a ton of things going on so it's taking me forever to finish this book and driving me crazy at the same time.


Next on my list:

This week I am going to attempt to read two books, The Restorer by Amanda Stevens and Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly.
