This week I'm anxiously awaiting the release of Tris & Izzie. This is a modern retelling of the fairytale. I haven't read the fairytale before but, I'm excited to read this book. This weekend I'll be attending ALA and I'm hoping that I would be lucky enough to grab a signed copy from the author. We'll see. This book will be released on October 11th. Isn't the cover gorgeous?

ReplyDeleteIt's actually an Irish/English fairy tale (Isolde was Irish; Tristan, English), so whoever wrote the synopsis dropped the ball on that one, but it definitely does sound interesting. (Sorry. Irish mythology buff right here. LOL) Nice pick!

I'm not familiar with this tale though I remember the movie coming out a few years ago. Sounds very interesting. I love the cover.
