This week I am reading Save My Soul by Zoe Winters. This book has me hooked, so I am sharing a teaser from the book. Hope you enjoy it :)

Save My Soul (Preternaturals, #2) “She didn’t have a comforting abstraction when dealing with his dark past. She had vivid, Technicolor dreams.”

Goodreads Synopsis:

All he's asking for is her soul.
After buying the antebellum home she's fantasized about since childhood, Anna Worthington discovers Luc, a dangerously seductive incubus who has been trapped in the house by a fifty-year-old curse. To rid herself of her problem house guest she'll call on a priest, gypsies, ghost hunters, and the coven of witches from lust bunny hell. All she has to do is resist him long enough to break the spell so they can go their separate ways. If she doesn't, she could die. And that would be the best case scenario.

So what are your teasers, reading anything exciting? Leave a link and I'll check it out. Happy Tuesday!

“Julie Seagle stared straight ahead and promised herself one thing: She would never again rent an apartment via Craigslist. The strap of her overstuffed suitcase dug into her shoulder, and she let it drop onto the two suitcases that sat on the sidewalk. It wasn’t like she had anywhere to carry them now. Julie squinted in disbelief at the flashing neon sign that touted the best burritos in Boston. She read the printout of the email again. Yup, this was the correct address.”

Synopsis from the Author's Site:

Flat-Out Love is a warm and witty novel of family love and dysfunction, deep heartache and raw vulnerability, with a bit of mystery and one whopping, knock-you-to-your-knees romance.

Something is seriously off in the Watkins home. And Julie Seagle, college freshman, small-town Ohio transplant, and the newest resident of this Boston house, is determined to get to the bottom of it.

When Julie’s off-campus housing falls through, her mother’s old college roommate, Erin Watkins, invites her to move in. The parents, Erin and Roger, are welcoming, but emotionally distant and academically driven to eccentric extremes. The middle child, Matt, is an MIT tech geek with a sweet side … and the social skills of a spool of USB cable. The youngest, Celeste, is a frighteningly bright but freakishly fastidious 13-year-old who hauls around a life-sized cardboard cutout of her oldest brother almost everywhere she goes.

And there’s that oldest brother, Finn: funny, gorgeous, smart, sensitive, almost emotionally available. Geographically? Definitely unavailable. That’s because Finn is traveling the world and surfacing only for random Facebook chats, e-mails, and status updates. Before long, through late-night exchanges of disembodied text, he begins to stir something tender and silly and maybe even a little bit sexy in Julie’s suddenly lonesome soul.

To Julie, the emotionally scrambled members of the Watkins family add up to something that … well … doesn’t quite add up. Not until she forces a buried secret to the surface, eliciting a dramatic confrontation that threatens to tear the fragile Watkins family apart, does she get her answer.

I LOVED this book! My review will be posted tomorrow and my Interview with the author will be posted on Thursday.

Leave a link with your Tuesday Teasers and I'll stop by to check them out :)

“What happened to me is something extraordinary. I’ve only recently discovered what caused my disease. I can’t really believe it. I don’t know if I ever will.
But it happened. Even though I look eighty on the outside, I’m still just a seventeen-year-old kid on the inside. I’m days away from my high school graduation, an event that was to promise the beginning of the rest of my life. Instead, I’m facing the countdown to my imminent death.”   pg. 4

Happy Birthday to Me (Birthday Trilogy, #1)

 Goodreads Synopsis:

Seventeen-year-old Cameron Martin has a huge problem: he’s aging a whole year of his life with each passing day!

High school is hard enough; imagine rapidly aging from seventeen to seventy in a matter of weeks, with no logical explanation, and with prom, graduation, and the state championship basketball game all on the horizon. That’s what happens to Cameron, a popular pretty boy who's never had to face a day looking anything but perfect.

All Cameron wants to do is go back to normal, but no one, not even the best doctors, can diagnose his condition. When he finds love with a mysterious young woman, however, he realizes his only hope for survival might be with the one person who started his condition in the first place..

Shade (Shade, #1)

Goodreads Description:

Love ties them together. Death can't tear them apart.
Best. Birthday. Ever. At least, it was supposed to be. With Logan's band playing a critical gig and Aura's plans for an intimate after-party, Aura knows it will be the most memorable night of her boyfriend's life. She never thought it would be his last.
Logan's sudden death leaves Aura devastated. He's gone.
Well, sort of.
Like everyone born after the Shift, Aura can see and hear ghosts. This mysterious ability has always been annoying, and Aura had wanted nothing more than to figure out why the Shift happened so she can undo it. But not with Logan's violet-hued spirit still hanging around. Because dead Logan is almost as real as ever. Almost.
It doesn't help that Aura's new friend Zachary is so understanding—and so very alive. His support means more to Aura than she cares to admit.
As Aura's relationships with the dead and the living grow ever complicated, so do her feelings for Logan and Zachary. Each holds a piece of Aura's heart...and clues to the secret of the Shift.

Seriously, I am in love with this story and can't help but think about days after I finished it. I can't help myself, all I want to talk about is this book, is that sad? Anyways, below is a few quotes from my recent read.

The book is released on April 19th, so if you get a chance you should definitely add it to your TBR list. You will be super happy you listened to me :).

"Charleston was old south, a state of mind, the luxuriant landscape of lost dreams."
"There was something troubling in his eyes, something that made me think again that here was a man who knew things."
