But other than that, it’s definitely perfect... Until the paparazzi publishes a picture of me smoking weed. Now I am being forced to move to NYC with my dad. Too bad I hate New York. At least there is Tristan Becker. He makes NY better. But he won’t date me because he thinks my best friend is in love with me. Which is absolutely not true... Or at least I don't think it is.As you can see my life is just... perfect.
I have to say I’ve read the Rockstar Trilogy series by Mercy Amare and I loved the books. But, there was just something about this book that I completely adored and I have to say this is my new favorite book from this author. It might be the relationship between the characters, the challenges they overcome and the way the story kind of came together so effortlessly. The main character Char’s life might seem perfect but it’s a lot to deal with when your family is always in the spotlight and you have to deal with how that affects your everyday life. She has an amazing best friend who was her lifeline while growing up and then life throws you a curve ball and changes your life in that instance, this happens to Char.
I loved that you were able to see all of the obstacles that each character had to face and that not everyone was who you thought they were. I think the biggest thing that I loved about the book was that everyone makes mistakes and you learn from them and find a way to redeem yourself. That, I think is what ultimately made me love this book.
